"Come unto me, all you who are tired out and carrying
burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am genial and meek in my heart, and you will find rest to your souls. For my yoke is very pleasant and my burden is light".
What better time of year than Easter to come to a better understanding of the message of Jesus. In three days it is possible to go from the depths of grief and little understanding to the third day and reach the heights of revelation.
How many souls suffer daily with what seems to be insurmountable problems; yet how many turn to the gentle message of Jesus, to His love and to His explanations. He was the
consciousness of God made manifest upon the earth so that mankind could see what God was really like – not from a physical point of view but from a loving consciousness that cares, feels and understands the pain of the children that He has created. Jesus points to a Way of Life that can give a reason for all things, making all things known and making all things bearable and all problems can be solved.
No one was too poor, too lowly, too rich or too sick to receive His touch.
Healing was such an integral part of His ministry. No one was too poor, too lowly, too rich or too sick to receive His touch. Every nationality received the benefit of His loving balm for He could see the need of all people. Even today, everyone is given the opportunity to receive His healing power. By the power of prayer, hearts are opened to receive the incomprehensible power of that Divine love which trickles its way through the whole being bringing that peace that passes all understanding. Sheltered within the Christ consciousness everyone can feel refreshed and renewed.
Albert lay on his bed, troubled in body and soul, needing sleep that seemed to elude him; he was waiting and ready for the death that he was hoping for. “Albert, come with me”, he heard a voice. Without stirring Albert replied, “Go away, I am dead”. A second time the voice called him and he gave the same reply. The third time was too much and Albert swung his legs over side of the bed, “Now see here…” he began. “No. You see here” said the Angel that stood at the bottom of the bed. Albert look around him and his eyes opened wide in amazement. A wave of fear passed through him – where was he!
All around him as far as he could see were people lying on beds just like his. He prodded the person next to him. “Go away”, said the man, “I am dead”. Again Albert prodded him and again before the man sat up and looked around him. He too showed amazement. With curiosity aroused both men made their way to each bed and as they went they began to collect quite a crowd. All nationalities, young and old, male and female.
“What to do now” wondered Albert. “Follow the light” said the Angel. Off they went and eventually arrived at the gate to a beautiful garden. They began to feel lighter, they smiled and they felt secure, safe and strangely peaceful.
What to do now” they turned to Albert who shrugged his shoulders. Suddenly the Angel was there with a host of people rushing to greet those in the garden. Turning to Albert the Angel said, “Now your journey begins.”
Albert felt a surge of new life – more than hope; something had stirred deep within him – but what was it! He woke up! Another wet and bleary day, the same, but somehow different!
The final message Jesus gave to His disciples was to go and preach the Gospel, “tell the people that I have come”, and heal the sick. This instruction encapsulates the whole of the Christ Mission.
He fulfilled His destiny for He is indeed the Saviour of the world; the consciousness of God manifested on earth for all mankind to see God in action and how much He loves His creation.
“Teach them to obey everything that I have commanded you; Lo! I am with you all the days, to the end of the world.”
His peace is lasting peace, with His love He helps each one to carry the gravest problems of life and His healing strengthens the soul of everyone who will receive it.
God bless you
